Amateur film of Ashmyany by American Jews visiting family and friends: cobblestone streets, market square, small alleys with brick and wooden houses, shops including a barber shop, shoemaker, pharmacies, hairdressers and craft workshops. Street scenes, a fireplace, school children and teachers assembled for the visitors, school building. Family members posing in a narrow cobblestoned street or inside their houses. The film also shows the rural surroundings of the town with its owners and pets, as well as the Jewish cemetery with a certain number of visitors.
